Organization of the Conference
Dates and Venue
The conference will be held at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich,
Switzerland on February 27, 28, 29 and March 1, 2000. The majority of the mutual
learning sessions on February 29 will be held at locations provided by
partner organizations.
Language and Communication
The official conference language will be English. Most presentations and activity will be
interactive, with response to speakers, dialogues and open sessions involving audience
participation. Participants are expected to have read the written texts in advance.

The fees for full attendance include the two conference publications, the informal meeting on
February 27, thereception on February 28, transport, three lunches, coffee facilities as well as
the farewell apéro on March 1.

The fees for single day attendance include the first conference publication, lunch, coffee facilities,
transport onFebruary 29 as well as the farewell apéro on March 1.
Cancellation and Refunds
Notification of cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the Conference Secretariat.
Registration cancelled before January 31, 2000 will result in 70% refund.
Registration cancelled before February 11, 2000 will result in 50% refund.
Refunds after February 11, 2000 are not possible.
